WordPress hosting from ChemiCloud is not shared. It is a managed WordPress hosting (which is good news). And, honestly, I didn’t think it would impress me. Sure it provides all WordPress features like staging, WP-CLI, server-side caching, 1-click WordPress install but, my geek’s heart is hard to gain.

Surprisingly, it performed more than expected and even far better than some big hosting brands. Plans also start at $3.95/month which is really cheap for fully managed WordPress hosting, and we also have three different plans like for shared hosting we discussed just above.

Cons of Using ChemiCloud

Hard, hard, and HARD. It has been really hard to find something against the service they provide. So much so that I finally came up with only one. Here is what I don’t like about ChemiCloud.

#1. Two Years Upfront Payment

Yearly payment is available for the Pro and Turbo plans only. If you want the Starter plan, then you are bound to 24 months (2 years) payment upfront at least.

#2. Metered Hosting

ChemiCloud allows unlimited bandwidth and not storage. So, you can’t get unlimited disk space like you would with A2 Hosting.

While this is not a problem, in my opinion, it might be tiny for disk space big websites. Nevertheless, 99% of websites and blogs will have no problem.
